Visit the UW Farm
Welcome! We invite you to come visit the UW Farm to see what’s growing, learn about our organic agricultural practices, and enjoy our beautiful sites.

Farm Sites
We have three farm sites across the University of Washington, Seattle campus. Please check out our Where to Find the Farm page for detailed history and directions about each site.
- Mercer Court Planned Urban Farm – west campus
- Production Farm at the Center for Urban Horticulture – east campus
- Rooftop Culinary Garden – north campus
Ways to Engage with the Farm
- For UW academic visits, please check out our Academic Visits page to see what kind of experience would work best for your course.
- For volunteering opportunities, please check out our volunteering page for individuals and Group Volunteering page for large work parties (Corporate and community groups, UW Registered Student Organizations, etc)
We ask that you contact us at least two weeks in advance of when you would like to visit the farm.
Welcome to the 2026-27 Academic year!
Start off your fall with a visit to the campus farm on October 2nd
Join us for our annual Dawg Daze Pizza Bake! Eat a slice (or two) of oven-baked pizza while visiting the UW Farm’s east campus location. Learn how you can get involved, courses and majors that utilize the farm, or just stroll down the paths and enjoy the green space. The east campus site is adjacent to the Union Bay Natural Area, easily reached via bike, walking or take the #65 bus. You never know who you might meet!
The Farm Manager, Production Manager and other farm team members will be there baking pizzas and can answer any questions you may have about programs, volunteering and getting credit at the farm.
