Sign Up Forms:
- New volunteers are required to sign up by completing Steps 1 and 2 on our Sign-Up Page.
- Returning volunteers must complete Step 1 on our Sign-Up Page prior to their first shift of each quarter.
- All volunteer shifts are walk-on. After completing forms, just show up at the location and time specified on the schedule.
- All volunteers also complete an attendance form at the beginning of each shift after arriving.
Shift Readiness:
- Arrive within the first five minutes of a shift
- Wear closed-toed, sturdy shoes and thick, heavy socks.
- Bring a hat, snack, water bottle, and weather-resistant layers of clothing.
- Be prepared to work with the farm team in all weather conditions.
Active Growing Location Descriptions:
- Mercer Court – Planned Urban farm, residential growing site between seven-story buildings and on the top of a parking garage
- Center for Urban Horticulture – Main production farm, full sun growing site, adjacent to Union Bay Natural Area
- McMahon Hall – Rooftop Culinary Garden
