UW Botanic Gardens facilities will be closed beginning at 12:30pm on Friday, February 8, and continuing through Sunday, February 10. Our facilities and programs are being impacted by anticipated inclement weather. Please check back on our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates going into next week.
Washington Park Arboretum impacts:
The Graham Visitors Center will be closed starting at 12:30pm Fri., Feb. 8 and will remain closed Sat., Feb. 9 and Sun., Feb. 10.

Sat., Feb. 9: Family Nature Class and Family Wild Walk – cancelled
Visitors are asked to be mindful that there are plants buried under the snow. Please do not walk, sled, or ski over plants!
Center for Urban Horticulture impacts:
The Elisabeth C. Miller Library and Merrill Hall will be closed starting at 12:30pm Fri., Feb. 8 and will remain closed Sat., Feb. 9 and Sun., Feb. 10.

Our gardens and grounds are open; however, we encourage visitors to use caution. It will take time for us to clear pathways of snow and ice. The weight of the snow and ice can cause tree branches to snap. Please stay out from under trees and please do not walk, sled, or ski over plants!
