The UW is a great place for food studies: from growing food at the UW Farm to studying food issues related to society, the natural environment, the built environment, and human health. Now a committee of faculty from the College of Built Environments, the College of the Environment, and the College of Arts and Sciences are in the process of developing a proposal for a new Interdisciplinary Food Studies Minor, and we need your help. We have created a quick, ten minute question survey to help assess student demand for this program. This is critical to make a successful proposal, and your feedback will hep ensure that the new minor is interesting and useful for you!
The survey is open to any student with a UW netID, so please help us spread the word and share this message to any student with an academic interest in food studies at the UW.
