SpringRain Farm & Orchard is a certified organic family farm located in Chimacum in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula. Our mission is to use the best available knowledge to sustainably and organically produce food for our local community. At SpringRain Farm, we are committed to conservation and caring for the land we live and grow on. The land is protected by an agricultural easement, ensuring that it will remain farm land forever. We steward Chimacum Creek, a salmon stream, and worked with partners to rehabilitate the creek and bring back the salmon. Solar power provides some of our electricity and we are working on other sustainable energy solutions. We think deeply about the health of the soil, the water, the animals, the plants, and the people we farm with.
SpringRain Farm & OrchardWe are hiring a new Farm Sales Specialist to help farm the land we love. The role of the sales person at SpringRain Farm is to market and sell our farm products through a variety of avenues including farmers markets, an email fresh sheet, restaurant and retail outlets, a food hub, and on-farm farm stand. Under the supervision of the farmer, the farm sales person will work to increase the sales volume and income of the farm business while also assisting with farming activities. The sales specialist will work closely with the farmer, farm manager, and marketing person to develop and implement daily, weekly, and seasonal activity plans and contribute toward making management decisions. SpringRain Farm & OrchardWe are hiring a farm manager to join our team this winter. This is a year-round, full-time position, 30-50 hours a week, depending on the season. The typical schedule is Tuesday through Saturday. This is a salaried position, depending on experience.
